Since 2006, we’ve been connecting busy Kiwi host families with loving au pairs from all corners of the globe. Our journey began with Cecilia Robinson, a Swedish-born entrepreneur and former au pair, who founded Au Pair Link together with her husband James Robison, to create meaningful connections between families and au pairs. Her vision was inspired by her own cultural exchange experiences and a deep belief in the value of quality childcare in a secure, loving home environment. Cecilia and James made Au Pair Link the first au pair agency to be officially licensed as a home-based Early Childhood Education (ECE) provider by the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

After a successful start, the company was acquired by Evolve Education Group, which brought additional resources and expertise to its operations. In 2019, Morgan Holyoake took over the company and guided Au Pair Link through one of the most challenging times in recent history—the COVID-19 pandemic. Her leadership, resilience, and commitment ensured the company’s survival and continued support for both au pairs and host families during this unprecedented period.

Today, Au Pair Link is proudly owned by Sasha and Ron, who bring a fresh perspective and a renewed focus on creating life-changing experiences for both au pairs and families. With their passion for cultural exchange and dedication to excellence, Ron and Sasha are committed to upholding the values that have defined Au Pair Link since its founding.
