09 Mar Anika Loth – March 2019

We would like to nominate our fantastic Au Pair, Anika Loth, for Au Pair of the month.

Anika fitted in with our family from the day she arrived and has formed an incredible bond with our two children, with us, with our family, friends (and their children) and community.

Everyone who meets Anika comments on how easy going, responsible and likable she is; she has a great sense of humor and makes our day-to-day life so much easier.

Anika has taught the kids lots of German words and phrases, bakes with them, does crafts, plays outside with them and has taught them how to play Uno, Skipbo and Phase 10 (card games) like pros.  She is like the best ever big sister and is rewarded with lots of cuddles from the children.

She has been a regular helper at school for reading and swimming and a great taxi service for the children, taking them to swimming and tennis lessons every week.  She has made lots of other au pair friends and has embraced plenty of activities like learning to surf, milk cows, climbing our mountain, learning tennis and family mountain bike races.

Anika has looked after the children for whole weekends when we have been away and we trust her implicitly.  We have never seen her get grumpy or stressed, she is always calm and happy. Anika has even helped us find our next Au Pair for July!

We will miss Anika very much when she leaves in May and hope we get to visit her in Germany one day.
